Highlights of the March 15, 2001, Regular Meeting of
the Minford Local School Board of Education.
Just prior to the beginning of the meeting, Middle School Math teacher,
Bob Hayburn, who had at a previous meeting, said that he would donate the
purchase price of a new band uniform, good-naturedly declared, at this
meeting, that he would also donate a second uniform if the board members
would also donate. Minford Board members responded quickly to this
generous offer by agreeing to do so. The Mighty Minford Marching
Falcons need to raise a total of $20,000 to purchase new uniforms.
Bob's and our Board Member's willingness to donate is appreciated.

awarded the primary and middle school a plaque for collecting the most
food for United Way. Also discussed was the second grade Civil War
presentation. Pictures of the event were shared.
