Highlights of the August 24, 2000 Special Board Meeting
of the Minford Local Board of Education:
Awarding of the last major contracts
for the new high school was the focus of the meeting.
In action the Board:

Awarded several contracts on Loose Furnishings for the High
School Project.

Awarded contract for landscape/Harfscape to J&H Erectors.

Approved several supplemental contracts.
-
Accepted a donation from Wal-Mart for the Jr. High Football
Program.

Employed Tara Estep as an elementary teacher assigned to
the Middle School.

Employed John Reedy as a substitute bus driver.
-
Received concerns voiced by a resident concerning hiring
practices.

Changed the date of the September Board Meeting to September
19th at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Library.
