Superintendent's Personal Note I recall a January day, when I was Minford High's principal, where I had to announce, to our students, that a very special space shuttle, carrying a teacher, had been destroyed upon take off. Last Saturday's destruction of the Columbia has added a second tragedy to America's space program. With impending war with Iraq, there are many reasons to join in National Prayer Week. while we remember the brave astronauts who lost their lives in the pursuit of knowledge, let's not forget the lives of those who would defend us against the terrorist threat. Get Well Wishes Ann Shirey
