Highlights of the January 8, 2004, Organizational Meeting of the Minford Local Board of Education

At the January 8, 2004, Organizational Meeting, the Board:

Re-elected Joseph Stockham as President.

Elected Troy Huff as Vice-president.

Re-appointed Anita McGinnis as O.S.B.A. Delegate and Liaison Representative.

Appointed John Jenkins as Student Achievement Delegate and Liaison.

Set compensation for Board Members as provided by law.

Re-appointed Dennis Meade, Superintendent and Eleanor Karshner, Treasurer as purchasing agents.

Re-appointed Glenn Franke, Assistant Superintendent as Civil Rights Coordinator/Compliance Officer.

Approved several standing authorizations.

Set the monthly board meeting to be the third Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in the high school media center.

Adopted the July 1, 2004 - June 30, 2005, Annual Budget.

Accepted the resignation of Paulette Weaver as Junior Varsity Softball Coach.

The next regular meeting of the Minford Local Board of Education will be January 22, 2004, 6:00 p.m. in the high school media center.
