Highlights of the October 28, 2004 Regular Meeting of the MInford Local Board of Education

A videotape updating the current school funding situation in Ohio was viewed.

A discussion was held concerning the old MIddle School.

John Jenkins, OSBA Student Achievements Liaison, passed out the OSBA Success Newsletter.

Amy O'Dell reviewed the activities to be held on Teacher Inservice Day, November 11, 2004.

In action the Board:

Accepted a donation from the Desco Federal Credit Union to the Middle School Athletic Fund.

Employed a part-time, as-needed technology aide.

Approved a request for the catastrophic illness leave.

Set Graduation 2005 to be Sunday, May 29, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in the High School Gymnasium.

Accepted resignations from the three supplementals.

Employed Angie Kremin as Jr. High Girls Assistant Basketball Coach (7th Grade), Steve Martin as Jr. High Girls Head Basketball Coach(8th Grade), Jesse Ruby as Jr. High Girls Track Coach and David Warren as Girls Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach.

Employed Barbara Setser and Ann Shirey as part-time teacher aides.
