In high school, I was involved in:  pep club, newspaper staff, scholarship teams, girls state, national honor society, 4-H, and I ran track until I broke my ankle.

When I was growing up, I usually got in trouble because:  I didn't get in trouble--my brother did.  Whatever he did, I DIDN'T do.

Brush with fame--ever met any famous people?  I met Earl Thomas Conley in Nashville.  I told him I was from Minford.  He was friends with Harold Williams & he asked me if I knew him.  I told him I went to school with Harold's daughter, Regina.  The lady standing behind me was amazed.
