FISHING TIME! Mr. Roger McRoberts, Head Maintenance Man for the Minford School District, has decided to retire after 24 years of experience to a life of fishing. Hopefully he and wife Loranie will do some of that fishing in Florida. Mr. McRoberts also plans to spend a lot of time in his basement workshop.
Mr. McRoberts began working as a janitor in the Minford Middle building in 1955. During his time at Minford he has also driven a school bus and worked at the old Sunshine school. Since 1974 he has been the Maintenance Supervisor for the Minford School District.
Boating and fishing are Mr. McRoberts' favorite hobbies, but he also enjoys tending a small garden as well as mowing his large lawn.
We will miss Mr. McRoberts' jolly smile and pleasant personality.
