United Nations Competition
Collin Johnson and Brent Figlestahler represented the country of Equatorial Guinea. They wrote a resolution titled "United Nations Sanctioned Elections". The resolution passed successfully through Council Sessions and the General Assembly.
Twelve students represented Minford High School at the 2004 Ohio Model United Nations - High School Session. The students were as follow: Rich Reffitt, Collin Johnson, Brent Figlestahler, Danielle Marion, Audrey Miller, Sarah Johnson, Tayler Baker, Ashley Hayward, Megan Fyffe, Jordan Roberts, Jolyanna Wells, and Brianna Hunstad.
Rich Reffitt held the office of Secretary General for the three-day competition. It is the second highest office in the state of Ohio in regards to the OMUN competition. Collin Johnson won "Outstanding Delegate". There were twenty "Outstanding Delegates" selected out of 1200 high school students grades 9-12.
