The Foreign Language Club is one of the oldest
clubs in the history of Minford High School.
The first record of the Foreign Language Club dates back
to 1926. At that time, there were only seven clubs and organizations
in existence: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Debate Team, Literary
Club, Orchestra, Yearbook Staff, and the Foreign Language Club. Of
those seven original clubs and organizations, only four still survive.
The first Foreign Language Club studied Latin. Throughout
the years, the languages have changed to French, German, and Spanish.
