Elaine Gahm Is Minford High Queen

Elaine Gahm will reign as homecoming queen of Minford High School at the Falcon-Wurtland Warrior football game Thursday night.

Miss Gahm will be crowned during pregame ceremonies beginning at approximately 7:30 p.m.  Her escort will be Dale Willis, football team captain.

She is a daughter of Mrs. pauline Gahm of Minford Route 2 and the late Vancil E. Gahm.

Attendants to be featured in pregame ceremonies at Minford Stadium are Lynda Chandler, senior; Donna Hutchinson, junor; Joyce Knore, sophomore; and Pam Fisher, freshman.

Escoring the court will be Lonnie Brown, Ron Parker, Bob Schmidt and Frank Conkel.

The 17-year-old homecoming queen is a member of the Girls Athletic Association, Tri Hi Y, Glee Club and Business Club.

During the halftime, the Minford Marching Falcons will be host to the Wurtland Warrior Band, division marching champions of Kentucky.

An after-game dance will be held in the school auditorium from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Minford seniors are to convert the gymnasium into an "exotic island paradise" in honor of the queen and her attendants.

Members of the homecoming committee are William Caudill, Larry Raines, Ralph Gampp, and Jo Ann Steiff.
