2004 PROM INFORMATION

Time: 8:30 p.m. to Midnight (do not arrive early)

Minford High School Gymnasium
All juniors and seniors must register in order to attend the Prom. You may not register a guest other than your own date (dates will not be admitted under 9th grade)! Prom tickets will be sold and Junior Class dues will be collected Monday, March 29, through Thursday, April 8, from 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. at the Tardy Table and 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in Mrs. Hayward's room. Vo-tech students will be permitted to purchase tickets at the same time. Dress Code for the Evening is FORMAL.
JUNIOR CLASS INFORMATION
If you are attending The Prom you must register and pay class dues. Check the listing in the office to see how much, if any class dues are owed. For each magazine you sold, your dues are reduced by $1.00. If you did not sell magazines, you owe $10.00. Excess sales may not be applied toward your date's ticket or class dues. If you bring a date who is not an MHS junior or senior, you must buy his/her ticket for $12.00.
SENIOR CLASS INFORMATION
Your prom ticket is free. The only money you owe is $12.00 for a guest who is not an MHS junior or senior. Remember that you must register in the office in order to attend The Prom.
PICTURES: Prom pictures will be taken at the high school from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 (prior to and during The Grand March Ceremony). Mr. Dodridge will be set up in the Auditoria. This will be your only chance to have pictures taken! If you have an early dinner reservation, we suggest you arrive early to be photographed.
VIDEO: John Switalski may be taping the Grand March and possibly part of Prom. Videos/DVD can be ordered that evening from him for $20.00. After he delivers them to the school, any other orders will be $25.00.
GRAND MARCH: Anyone interested in participating in The Grand March Ceremony must meet in the High School no later than 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2004. The Grand March line will be in the hallway by the locker rooms. There will be signs posted as to the path for Grand March. Remember \, hundreds of family members, friends, and community members gather this evening to see you at your best and to take pictures. We'll do whatever we can to make the evening one of your best; however, we do need your cooperation during this process. Dr. Dennis Meade will be the Master of Ceremonies of Grand March.
Food: A snack buffet will be available
at The Prom for your enjoyment.
Parents must leave the high school as soon as they are finished taking pictures.
Again, everyone attending The Prom must register! The Deadline for registering,
paying class dues, and purchasing prom tickets is Thursday, April 8. The
decorations for Grand March are also the decorations for Prom and must
not be removed until after Prom is over!
