$8.00 for a guest who is not a MHS junior or senior. Remember, you must
register in order to attend The Prom.
DIRECTIONS: Skooter's is located on Old
Route 32 south of the Appalachian Highway approximately 1 mile west from
Route 335.
PICTURES: Prom pictures
will be taken at the high school from 4:00pm -6:00pm on Friday, April 28
(prior to and during The Grand March Ceremony). Mr. Dodridge will be set
up in the cafeteria. This will be your only chance to have pictures taken!
None will be taken at Skooter's! If you have an early dinner reservation,
we suggest you arrive early to be photographed.
GRAND MARCH: Anyone interested in participating in The Grand March Ceremony must meet in the High School no later than 5:15pm on Friday, April 28, 2000. Please go directly to the hallway which leads to the chorus room and check in with Mrs. Dodridge or Mrs. Graf. It is very important to listen to the instructions for Grand March, so everyone will know the route, when to descend from the stage, etc. Remember, hundreds of family members, friends, and community members gather this evening to see you at your best and to take pictures. We'll do whatever we can to make this evening one of your best; however, we do need your cooperation during this process. Dr. Dennis Meade will be the Master of Ceremony of Grand March.
FOOD: A snack buffet will be available at
The Prom for your enjoyment.
Parents must leave Skooter's as soon as they are finished taking pictures.
Again, everyone attending The Prom must register! The deadline for registering,
paying class dues, and purchasing prom tickets is Tuesday, April 25th.
JUST A REMINDER, BECAUSE OF EASTER BREAK, SCHOOL WILL NOT BE IN SESSION
APRIL 17-24.
Early Dismissals on the day of Prom will not be permitted before 11:00am. The office MUST have a note requesting an early dismissal no later than Tuesday, April 25th. This note must also be accompanied by a phone call from your parent. All early dismissals are unexcused.
