On February 6, 2002, two Minford High School baseball players signed letters of intent to play baseball at the college level.
Seth Morrison (top pic) signed a letter of intent to play at Allen County Community College in Allen County, Kansas.  Seth transferred to Minford from Wheelersburg in open enrollment his senior year to play baseball for the Falcons.  Morrison, who would be joining his brother Aaron Morrison, is looking forward to playing ball in Kansas.  Seth's parents were excited that their son would be play baseball in college.
"I'm very excited that I'm playing ball in Kansas," said Morrison.
Josh Lewis (bottom pic) also signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Rio Grande.  Lewis, who played baseball for Minford his junior, sophmore, & freshman years, is looking forward to playing at Rio Grande after this year's season.
"I've been looking toward this year's season, but to play baseball after high school is really great," responded Josh.
So far, Minford has sent two players already to further their education in college.  Hopefully after this season there will be more to follow.
