September 8, 1924 - School begins. Everybody anxious to start studying. All the teachers are new and kinda queer.
September 9, 1924 - Teachers and pupils have difficulty in arranging the schedule. Finally completed. Classes begin.
September 10, 1924 - Students and faculty both realize we are sadly in need of another teacher. More puzzling on schedule.
September 11, 1924 - Everybody settles down to regular routine of mental labor. Mr. Wood with the aid of the other teachers has arranged the schedule to everybody's satisfaction.
September 12, 1924 - All had our pictures taken. Freshmen are sent out of study hall while Mr. Wood talks to the rest of the school.
September 15, 1924 - Mr. Wood leaves Earl Giles in charge of the study hall while he visits the rural schools. Earl hands in a report.
September 16, 1924 - Mr. Wood organized an orchestra. Freshmen begin to realize someone is plotting against them.
September 17, 1924 - Freshies receive an invitation to a reception given by their superiors.
September 18, 1924 - Freshmen are given a reception and initiated. Everyone has a good time.
September 19, 1924 - Assignments are increasing, requires more studying.
September 22, 1924 - Everybody get their pictures but some however fail to claim them.
September 23, 1924 - Boys practice baseball. Mr. Wood the coach gets a team in shape for game with McDermott.
September 24, 1924 - Earl again keeps study hall. Seniors are trusted by teachers.
September 25, 1924 - Something always happens to take the joy out of life--detention is mentioned by faculty, they start complaining about low grades.
September 26, 1924 - Our ball team plays McDermott. We win!
September 29, 1924 - New teacher arrives. All pleased with her especially Mr. Jones. Arrange schedule again. Makes periods short.
September 30, 1924 - Girls physical education classes started. Orchestra meets after school.
