Dr. Clyde M. Fenton, optometrist, announces that Dr. Aaron T. Kallner, optometrists, has joined his practice.

Kallner is a graduate of Minford High School. Kallner completed his pre-optometry requirements at the University of Kentucky. Kalner received his bachelor of science and his doctor of optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1998.

Kallner practices primary care optometry, which includes diagnosis, treatment and management of eye disease. This includes pre-and post-operative cataract care, diagnosis and management of glaucoma, diabetic and hypertension eye disease, management of both dry and wet macular degeneration and pre-and post-operative Lasik care. He also will treat eye emergencies including foreign body removal.

He is also experienced in fitting various kinds of glasses including progressive and various types of no-line bifocals. He fits and prescribes all types of contact lenses, which includes same-day dispensing on most lenses.

Kallner has experience with children and pediatric patients and has been involved in numerous vision screenings in the area. He is a member of the Amblyopia Registry of Ohio.

Kallner and his wife, Jodi, reside in Minford. They have two daughters.

He is now accepting new and previous patients at his 2002 Robinson Ave. office. Kallner's office accepts most insurance plans. His office hours are Monday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call (740) 353-5351 for an appointment.
