Mr. and Mrs. Scott and Bev McGlone of Minford announce the engagement of their daughter, Elisabeth Ann McGlone, to Shawn Edward Claxon a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed and Terry Claxon of Wheelersburg.

The bride-elect is 1997 graduate of Minford High School and a 2001 graduate of Shawnee State University with a bachelor's degree in natural science, with an emphasis in Life Science Secondary Education. She is currently employed at Clay High School as a science teacher.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of South Webster High School and a 2004 graduate of Shawnee State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is currently employed with Mark A. Harner Insurance Agency in Sciotoville.

They plan to exchange vows on July 23, 2005 at Bloom Freewill Baptist Church in Scioto Furnace with music beginning at 3:00.
