This class is open to students of any reading level. Reading comprehension and vocabulary skills are emphasized. Students will read novels, short stories, myths, and other literary genres. At various times during the year, they will have the opportunity to select books for reading. For those students who have not passed the reading section of the Ninth Grade Proficiency Test, special intervention is provided.
