Study of the Novel

Our College English 9 Class has been reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.  This novel helps students to consider important social issues such as prejudiceness, stereotyping, respect and honesty.
 
 

 

Drama

The class enjoyed putting on costumes and dramatizing parts of the book.

Writing

The students were assigned to write an original chapter for the book.  Their chapter must maintain point of view, characterization, tone and setting.
