Physical Education Class
Physical Education is required of each able-bodied ninth
and tenth grade student. Excuse is granted for a specified period
of time upon the advice in writing of a licensed physician. This
excuse must be renewed each year and be placed with the student's cumulative
records in the guidance office.
Includes team sports, individual sports, and exercise
for fitness.
Doctor excused absences must meet certain criteria to
obtain a grade (alternative experiences will be provided on a case by case
basis).
No participation and no dressing--1 letter grade drop
Participation but not dressing - 1/2 letter grade drop
