Applying for Open Enrollment

Any application for a transfer must be submitted to the Superintendent's office of the Minford Local District beginning at 8:00 a.m. on April 8, 2003, and should be received no later than May 30, 2003. Applications will be acted upon by June 30th. Parents must indicate acceptance of transfer on or before July 30th or the agreement for transfer may become void. One application must be submitted for each student who requests a transfer. The final deadline for application for participation in the 2003-2004 open enrollment program, subject to other rules within this document, will be January 9, 2004. Applications received after this date may be considered according to the circumstances. Generally, October 10, 2003, will be the main deadline.
