Clyde Kronk, 32, married six months, gave up his life today in saving two men from drowning.

He was so exhausted after his effort that he could not save himself. Kronk, a merchant of Harrisonville, was driving past Millbrook Lake, one mile east of here when an automobile containing two unidentified men left the road and plunged into the lake.

Kronk's body was recovered.
