Dell Mullins

Del Mullins, 92, of Wallace Mill Road, Minford, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.

Born June 29, 1912, in Dickerson, Va., a son of the late Greenbury and Roxie (Doton) Mullins, he was a retired, self-employed farmer and attended Scioto Furnace Pentecostal Church. He is survived by seven sons, Floyd Mullins of Minford, Glen Mullins of Wakeman, Ernest Mullins of Norwalk, Carl Mullins of Wheelersburg, Roy Mullins of Wheelersburg, Randy Mullins of Minford and Ricky Mullins of Minford; two daughters, Edith Kelly of South Webster and Violet Marie (Ree) Stephenson of Minford; one brother, Orville Mullins of Minford; one sister, Violet Binder of Minford; 22 grand children and many great grand children and great-great grand children; and a special friend, Linda Preston

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Salie (Reed) Mullins on March 11, 2000, who he married on April 23, 1933; one son, Elmer Mullins; one grand son, Michael Mullins; one great grand daughter, Natashia Cantrell; two brothers, Beldon and Charles Mullins; five sisters, Sally Mae Loop, Oma Maynard, Goldie Blackburn, Vestie Miller and Gracie Reed.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home with Pastor John Baker officiating. Burial will be in White Cemetery near Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour before the services on Friday.
