James L. Waddell

James L. Waddell, 30, of Wheelersburg, a former Minford resident, died Saturday, May 9, 1998.

Born June 7, 1967 in Portsmouth, the son of Sarah C. Estep Waddell and Louis W. "Whitley" Waddell, both of Minford.

He was a employee of Whitey's Bicycle of New Boston, a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Portsmouth, a 1985 graduate of Minford High School, and served in the Army.

In addition to his parents he is survived by four brothers: John L. Waddell of Sciotoville; Lawrence W. Waddell and his wife, Jill, both of Grove City; Russell W. Waddell of Minford; Rodney D. Waddell of Minford; two sisters: Mrs. Mark (Rita) Fitver of Portsmouth; Mrs. Walter (Alive) Hawkins of Orient; 11 nephews and nieces; five great-nephews and nieces, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hohn and Dorothy Waddell and Roscoe and Meri Estep.

Funeral services will be held today (Wednsday, May 13, 1998) at 11 a.m. at Harrison Free Will Baptist Church near Minford with the Pastor Jesse Waggoner and Pastor Tom Dooley officiating. Burial in Owl Creek Cemetery in Pike County.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 1998 at the church. Arrangements under the direction of the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home.
