Kathyrn Parks, 77, formerly of West Main Road, Conneaut, Ohio,
died Wednesday morning, Dec. 10, 2003, at The villa At The Lake. She was
born April 24, 1926, in Stockdale, Ohio, and was the daughter of George
B. and Grace E. Snodgrass Wilson. Mrs. Parks graduated from Minford High
School in Minford, Ohio, and moved to Conneaut in 1959, where she was employed
as a unit aide at Brown Memorial Hospital for 20 years retiring in 1994.
She attended South Ridge Baptist Church and was a former member of Rose Chapter
#22 Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren,
and reading.
Survivors include two daughters, Elva (Robert) Busch of Bridgewater, N.J.,
and Mary Ellen (Gary) Schatz of Beaufort, S.C.; two sons, Dean W. (Becky)
Parks of Holland, Ohio, and Kay Blackburn of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Robert
Wison of Circleville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Laura Noonan, Kathyrn Schatz,
Karrie Trautman, Erin Wires, and Brian Parks; and a great-grand child, Elliot
Wires. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Dean P.
Parks, in 2001. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the
Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio,
with the Rev. Dr. Roger P. Hogle of South Ridge Baptist Church of Christ
officiating. Burial Will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the
funeral home Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions
may be made to the Regional Cancer Center or to Hospice of Western REserve.
