Mildred M. Rockwell

Mildred M. Rockwell, 89, a former Minford resident, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, in Englewood Manor in Englewood, Ohio.
Born Feb. 27, 1914, in Rubyville, in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Sharp and Winnie Lyons Ruby, she had lived most of her life in Scioto County. She was a graduate of Minford High School in 1930 and was a member of Minford United Methodist Church. She served on the Lucasville Water Board for 23 years and was a member of Minford Homemaker Club and Lucasville Order of Eastern Star No. 495.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Norman W. "Buck" Rockwell, May 9, 1991. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Glenn Gleim of Huber Heights: a brother, Myrl Ruby of Rubyville, a sister, Marie Hinsdale of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren, Trige Gleim, Troy Gleim, Terri White, Tina Cochran, Twain Gleim and Tonya Ashrafi; and 13 great-grandchildren.
