Minnie Marie Fisher, 91, of Minford, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
She was a daughter of the late Charles "Poppy" and Sarah "Mommy" Smith Myers. A homemaker, Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Sunshine Church of Chirst. She attended Garfield Grade School and Portsmouth High School. She worked at Portsmouth General Hospital and Scioto Memorial Hospital as a dietician aide for 35 years. Her hobbies were quilting, making jewelry and collecting antiques. She will be sadly missed by all her children, grandchildren, family and friends who loved her dearly.
She is survived by on son, Paul Willard Fisher of Minford; six daughters, Ruby Jean Aldinger of Moutain View, Calif., Vivian Louise Harris of Canton, Irmalee and Wayne Gampp of Minford, Jane and Kenneth Hickman of Minford, Sharon and Carl Shepherd of Minford, Pamela Joy and Donald Corriel of Wheelersburg; grandchildren, Leroy Aldinger, Diane Marie (Gregory) Samson, Dwight and Vernon Harris, Randall Wayne and Perry Scott Gampp, Lisa Lynn (Joe) Hannah, Mark Allen (Shelly Ann) Fisher, Kimberly Sue (Jeffrey Wayne) Garrett, Darren Carl (Teresa) Shepherd, Crystal (Joe) Preston, Kevin Ray (Julee) Hickman, Donald Jason (Kristine) Coriell, Jodi Nicole (Aaron) Kallner, Kristine Joy (Jamie) Riley; great-grand children. Joshua Dean Aldinger, Jessica, Jeffery, Ryan and Christopher Samson, Ryan and Shea Fyffe, Stephanie Morgan Gampp, Morgan, Brock, and Brice, Hannah, Hollyrock, Elijah, Paul Sullivan Fisher, Amberly, Victoria and Shayne Garrett, Allison Faye, Emma Sue and Dillion Cole Shepherd, Courtney Nicole, Joey Ray, and Robert Tate Preston, Warren Martin, Audrey Jane Hickman, Abigail and Ellison Kallner, Aurie and Allyssa Corriell, Kendall Riley; and one great-great grandchild, Brooklyn Gampp Oglesby. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twin children, Dianne Marie and John Dean Fisher; six brothers, John Willard, Grant Willard Bryant, Clarence, Charles, Fredrick and Gordon Willis Meyers; and four sisters, Bessie Powell, Mary Meyers, Clara Lowder, and Mandy Myers.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at Sunshine Church of Christ near Minford with Steve Miller, Jamie Riley and Jeff Garrett, ministers, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home from 6 t0 9 p.m. Tuesday.
