Myrtle Euton, 87
Mrytle Ruth Euton, 87, of Minford, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Golden Years Convalescent Center in Portsmouth.
Born Nov. 13, 1917, in Otway, Ohio a daughter of the late Frank "Pop" Miller and Amelia Crabtree Miller, she was a homemaker, singer, songwriter, musician, and poet.
Friends and relatives will miss her special poems they recieved through the years.
SHe is survived by two sons, Harold "Red" (Irene) Euton of Jackson, Bill (Becky) Euton of Sherrills Ford, N.C.; five daughters, Patrice (Bob) Richards of Wheelersburg, Velda (Rodger) Jordan of Jackson, Gail (Karl) Brock of Xenia, Tommi Robin (Greg) Stanley of Black Oak, Ky., Mary Margaret (Alvin) King of Minford; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Red" C. Euton, in 1969, whom she married Nov. 13, 1934, in Washington Court House; three brothers, Harry Miller, Clarence "Friday" Miller, Joseph Miller; one sister, Gladys Brown; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with the Rev. Richard North officiating. Burial will be in Euton Family Cemetary. Friends may call the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and one hour before the service on Sunday.
