Nellie Viola Parker Adrian, 72, of Minford, a former Beaver area resident, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.

She was born Dec. 7, 1931, on White Gravel Road, in Minford, Ohio, a daugher of the late Arthur and Mollie Webb Parker.

Nellie was a licensed Practical Nurse for 22 years.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Bill and Woodrow "Buss" Parker, and sisters, Serena Keller, Faye Thorson and Goldia Ledford.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Brenda (Carl) Hartley, Mike (Becky) Adrian, and Vicki Traylor, all of Beaver; seven grandchildren, Tim, Jason, George and Lorie Traylor, Mike (Bobbi) Adrian, Ashley Adiran and Heather Hartley; five great-grandchildren, Nicole, Tiffany, Victoria, Tamara and Jessie Traylor; a sister, Mary Smith of Portsmouth; and two brothers, Arthur Parker, Jr., of Wheelersburg and Leroy Parker of Columbus.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Steve Miller, minister, officiating. Burial will be in White Gravel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
