Nellie Young, 76, of Eastlake, Ohio, formely of Minford, died Friday, July 16, 2004, in Eastlake, Ohio.

She was born Dec. 16, 1927, in Lewis County, Ky., a daughter of the late Mickle and Glendora "Cassies" Howard Parker. Nellie was married Aug. 15, 1947, in Catletts, Ky., to Felix Young Jr., who preceded her in death on March 23, 1982.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Lovell Parker, Orville Parker, Elza Parker, Ernest Parker and William Herman Parker; an one sister, Dollie Lambert.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cheryl Young of Owingsville Ky., and James and Terri Young of Minford; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Calvin Parker, Thurman Parker and Frank Parker; four sisters, Alma Jordan, Laura Davis, Ellabea Madden and Dorothy Brown; and a special friend, John Williams.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Ron Parker officiating. Burial will be in memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the services Tuesday.
