Alice Coburn Pollard

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Coburn Pollard, 20, wife of Otha Pollard of Washington C. H., who died Thursday at Mt. Carmel hospital, following the Caesarian birth Sunday of a daughter, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stockdale Methodist church.
Rev. William Sheppard, who married Mr. and Mrs. Pollard on March 3, 1938, will officiate at the last rites and burial will be in Bennett cemetery. The body is at the home of Mrs. Pollard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Coburn of near Minford.
Mrs. Pollard was born March 30, 1919, in the Minford community. She attended the schools there and was graduated in 1937 from Minford High school. She was a member of the Harrison Baptist church, Minford. Mrs. Pollard had lived at Washington C. H. since her marriage.
Beside her husband, daughter and parents, Mrs. Pollard is survived by a brother and these sisters: Mrs. Thomas Conkey of Wheelersburg, Mrs. Roy Brown of Stockdale, Mrs. Willard Brame and John Louis Coburn of Minford.
