Richard Gampp

 Richard G. Gampp, 81, of Sciotoville, died Sunday, July, 4, 2004, at his home.

  He was born Sept. 29, 1922, in Scioto County, to the late William N. and Iva Bennett Gampp.  Richard was a graduate of Minford High School, an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and a member of Sunshine Church of Christ.  He was a farmer and a retired produce manager from Deemer's Market.

  Also, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Deemer Gampp, and one brother, Albert Gampp.

 Survivors include one son, Nick (Ann) Gampp of Sciotoville; two daughters, Pam Gampp of Sciotoville and Linda (Bob) Ankrom of Wheelersburg; one brother, Earl Gampp of Sciotoville; three grandchildren, Tim (Jennifer) Gampp, Sarah (David) Rice and Jacob Ankrom; and one great-grand-daughter, Katie Rice.

 The funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pat Gampp, nephew, officiating.  Interment will be in Batterson Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
