Roger alley, 55, of Bennett School House Road, Wheelersburg, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at his residence.

Born May 6, 1950, in Scioto County, a son of the late Simmie and Grace M. Osborne Alley-Lambet, he was of the Protestant faith.

He is survived by his wife, Janicce Faye Conklin Alley, whom he married on Jan. 16, 1971; one son, William J. "Bill" Alley of Lucasville; two daughters, Christina L. Alley and Angela F. Adkins, both of Wheelersburg; five grandchildren; three brothers, Benjamin R. Alley and Bob Alley, both of Beaver, and Steven Alley of Lucasville; one sister, Barbara Holsinger; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William R. "Spread" Alley.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with the Rev. Harold Cox officiating.  Burial will be in Gilliland Family Cemetary.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday before the services.
