Sally Ann Adams, 79, of May 8, 2005, at her residence. May

Born Jan. 9, 1926, in New Boston, a daughter of the late Clifford C. and
Charlotte Hurley Chinn, she was a lifetime resident of Scioto County. She
was a business manager for her husband's medical office, Dr. Roy H. Adams
in Minford for many years, and a member of Grace United Methodist Chruch
in Raceland, Ky. She was a member of the Lucasville Eastern Star No. 495,
National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and lifetime member
Alpha Delta Pi Sorority from Ohio University. She was past regional and local
leader of the Gril Scouts of America in Scioto County, and was a past member
and pianist at Minford United Methodis Chruch for more than 25 years.
She is survived her daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Rita Adams-Slone nad husband Roy H. Slone, of Minford; and two grandchildren, Duke E. Slone of Minford, Stacy Neisler and her husband, Walt Neisler of Spring Hill, Tenn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Roy H. Adams, on Oct. 12, 2004; and one son, Rev. Roy H. Adams Jr., on Nov. 5, 1999.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. James Adams officiation. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour before the services on Saturday.
