Selca E. Cordle

Selca E. Cordle, Jr. 47, of Oak Hill, a former Minford resident, died Sunday, May 26, 2002 in Maryland. 

He was born Sept. 11, 1954 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Selca E. and Susie (Ross) Cordle, Sr. 

He was a foreman-carpenter for Ceramic Cooling Tower Corporation, based in Fort Worth, TX, and was a graduate of Minford School in the class of 1972. 

He is survived by one son: Jason Cordle of Minford; fiance Amiee Newsome; one daughter: Jessica Cordle of Oak Hill; and her fiance: Justin Hughes; one grandson; Caleb Hughes; six brothers: William Cordle, all of Newton Falls; three sisters: Mrs. Mervin (Janet) Comer of Beaver; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers : Paul and Norman D. Cordle; and one sister Minerva Cordle. 

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2002 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Bob Alexander officiating. Burial in Bennett Cemetery in Minford.
