Terry Gene Whitt, 47, of Blue Run Road, Lucasville, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born in May 1, 1954 in Portsmouth, a son of Marianna Jane (Keller) Whitt of Lucasville, and the Winfield Jackson (Jack) Whitt. He was a lifetime resident of Scioto County.
He was a car repairman for Norfolk and Southern Railroad, attended Stockdale Church of Christ in Chrisitan Union, graduate of Minford High School in the class of 1972, and a member of the Lucasville Masonic Lodge #465 and Brotherhood of Railway Carmen.
He is survived by three brothers: Mike and his wife, Robin Whitt of Minford; his twin brother: Jerry Whitt of Lucasville; Paul and his wife, Lawana Whitt of St. Rt. 335, Minford; five nephews: Josh Whitt, Ben Whitt, Jeremy Whitt, Matthew Whitt, Jack Whitt; one niece: Samantha Whitt; and one son: Aaron Boyer.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, with Pastor Vernon Smith officiating. Burial in Wheelersburg Cemetery.
