Wilma Lee Gampp

Wilma Lee Gampp, 83, of Gampp Lane, Portsmouth died Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.

Born Feb. 1, 1921, in Russell, Ky., a daughter of the late Elva and Lucille VanHorn Lewis, she was a retired librarian, for Minford Local School and a member of Wheelersburg Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Gampp; two sons, Michael and Sharon Gampp of Portsmouth and Partrick Gampp of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Michael Gampp II of Portsmouth and Melissa Gampp-Lauder of Portsmouth; two great-grandchildren, Jaid Allison Gampp and Emma Grace Lauder; one brother, Elva "Cotton" Lewis of Sandy Hook, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James David Gampp in infancy; and one brother, James Lewis.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral home in Minford with Patrick Gampp officiating. Burial will be in Batterson Cemetary on Gampp Lane.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m.  Monday and one hour before the service on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Minford Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
