The neighbors are saying "We think the Whites deserve help, too," and are organizing to give that help.

Last Sunday at the Methodist church services in this Scioto County village, Mr. and Mrs. Victor White were making a final appeal for furniture and clothing for the Elmer Skaggs family.  Two weeks ago a fire destroyed the Scaggs home.

Just then the fire gong on the village hall summoned 10 of Minford's volunteer firemen out of the church.  But they were too late to save a six-room home belonging to the Whites.
