Pomeroy, O. - Sept. 16
Mrs. James Williams, living far back in the country near Harrisonville, a community near here, recently observed her 102nd birthday anniversary by bobbing her own hair.
The aged woman remembers events that took place 96 years ago, notably that of when her father left home to work on the Erie canal and never returned.
Her memory also recalls the howling of wolves and she says that she can remember seeing a pack of these animals kill a steer in a pasture near the family home.
