Clarence McKenzie

Clarence McKenzie was born on his father's 360 acre Glendale Farm in 1893. He married Julia Kallner, daughter of William C. And Etta Alice [White] Kallner, who was "the girl next door."

Clarence and Julia went to school in the Stockham School House on Titus Lane which is now Luther Road. They were married in 1913 and moved to New Boston for awhile. Their first son Clarence Edwin was born there. The family moved back to the farm before the birth of their second son, Harold Emery. Life had its hardships for the family. Harold Emery died at the age of five and Clarence Edwin died of tetanus at the age of twenty-three. They are buried in the Bennett Cemetery.
