David Crull (Kroll)

David Crull [Kroll] was born in Germany in 1753. He was son of Martin Crull and Charlotte "Lottie" Lotz. His father died and Lottie remarried. She sent her four children, William, David, Mary, and Henry to America as indentured servants. David Crull was ten years old when he left Germany for America.

David married Nancy Ann Bennett, daughter of Charles Bennett and Martha Collins in 1777, in Morgantown, VA [now WVA]. Their children were Susan, WIlliam, Samuel, Jemima who married Jacob Utt., David, and Charles. All of the children were born in VA but came to Harrison Township about 1805, after Charles made a trip to scout out the land. The family traveled by raft and landed at the mouth of the Little Scioto RIver. David Crull died in Scioto County in 1827.
