Hiram Adams

Hiram Adams was born in 1833 in Harrisonville. He was a life-long resident, dying there in 1908. His parents were George Adams and Nancy? They were among the earliest pioneers of the northeastern part of the country.

Hiram Adams married Diana Butcher and to them were born eight children: George W., Mary Ann, William B, Eunice, Belle, H.B., Frank S., and John H. He married [2] Elizabeth Fullerton also of Harrisonville. Mr. Adams served in the Civil War in Company A, 140th OVI. He was a Republican and a member of the Madison Baptist Church. He is buried in the Adams Cemetery in Madison Township.
