Jefferson Dever

Jefferson Dever was born near Jackson Furnace in Jackson Co., OH, in 1830. His father was Solomon Dever . His mother was Chloe Mault. In 1856, he married Evaline Crull of Harrisonville. They had five children: Chloe, who married Jacob Hayward; Wesley; Alice; George; and Louella. Mr. Dever was affiliated with the Republican Party.
