L. D. McKinney

L.D. McKinney was a native of Madison County. He was born June 17, 1816 to Daniel McKinney and Catherine Samson. Daniel Mckinney one of the earliest settlers of Madison Township was his grandfather. L.D. married Isabinda Stockham, daugther of Joseph Stockham and Hannah Bennett. The Stockhams and Bennetts were also pioneer families.
L.D. and Isabinda had eight children, seven of whom lived to be adults: William, Samantha, Ruth, Maria, Charles, Alice, and Eliza.
