Marion C. Brame

Marion C. Brame was born in Madison Township two miless south of Stockdale. He was the son of Jacob Brame and Emeline Coburn. He attended the district school in Madison Township until the death of his father forced him to rely upon his own resources in order to earn his living. He moved to Illinois and earned money working as a farm hand. He then returned to Madison Township and went two terms of school at the Harrisonville Normal School. He worked hard to educate himself and became a teacher. His politics are Republican by party.
