Sela Coriell

Sela [Celia] Coriell was born April 20, 1808, in Middlesex County, New Jersey. He moved with his family to Scioto County at the age of ten, and settled on a farm in Harrison Township. He married Mary Welch on May 6, 1838, and settled on land that belonged to his father, Elias Coriell. Sela and Mary Welch Coriell had a least 13 children. Family history says they had sixteen but thirteen can be accounted for through census reports. Four of these children died before adulthood.
