Athens County Teacher Visits Historic Ohio.

Miss Clara Poston, of near Athens, returned Monday from a week's visit with friends in Columbus, Urbann, Springfield, and Yellow Spring. Interesting places she visited during the trip included the Ohio Caverns at West Liberty, Mac-O-Check and Mac-O-Chee Castles, where James Whitcomb Riley received his inspiration to write his poem, "When the Frost is on the Pun kin"; and Clifton Falls at Fern dale in the Little Miami River, where Daniel Boone made his famous leap in escaping from the Indians.

Miss Poston is a graduate of Ohio University in the class of 1930, and is a teacher of English and history and Dean of Girls at Minford, Ohio. She will return to her work at Minford, Sept. 8.
