Portsmouth Boxers Take Three Legion Ring Championships

PORTSMOUTH, O., Feb., 8 - (AP) - Portsmouth youths won three of the eight places from southeast Ohio for the American Legion Golden Gloves state tournament to be held at Akron, Feb., 18.

Two of the bouts went by knockouts.

Flyweight, Harold Reinhardt, 105, Portsmouth, won by technical knockout over Arthur Mimey, 100, Chillicothe.

Bantamweight, Delmar Lewis, 114, Portsmouth, won decision over Aaron London, 118, Camp Shawnee No. 2.

Featherweight, Pinkey Tolbert, 128, Portsmouth, won decision over Ralph Mathews, 125, Nauvoo.
