One Injured in Strike Crash

PORTSMOUTH, O., May 23 - (AP) - Several minor disorders in with one man was injured severely, were reported today at the Portsmouth branch of the Wheeling Steel Corp., where 5,500 workers are on strike.

The injured man who was taken to the Portsmouth hospital, is Burgess Reeg, 45, timekeeper. He was beaten in a clash with pickets, police reported.

Rocks were thrown thru windows of the plant and at automobiles, police said. Several deputy sheriffs were stationed around the plant.
