Six Indicted for Murder in Strike Inquiry

Portsmouth, Oh., July 30 -- (AP) -- Six
men were held without bond in county jail today, under both first and second
degree murder indictments in the killing of Simon Ginsburg, 38, during
a strike battle at the Wheeling Steel Corp., plan here June 23.
The indictments returned late yesterday, climaxed a grand jury investigation
of violence during the 52-day walkout called by the Amalgamated Association
of Iron, Steel and Tin Workers.
Those indicted on both charges were James Sexton, 51,
of Scioto co, Ohio; Robert Malone, 41, and Charles Weiss, 31, both of Portsmouth; Clifford
Dupuy, 36, and Carman Newell, 27, both of South Portsmouth, Ky.; and Clyde
Mullens, 38, of Wheelersburg.
