Steel Firm Protests Rail Freight Rates

WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 - (AP) - The Wheeling Steel Corp. today
filed a complaint with the interstate commeree commission aganist freight
rates on its products west to Kansas, claiming they violated rates previously
prescribed by the comission. The coroprations requested as answer by the
railroads involved and reparation as deemed necessary by the commission.
The coporation has its principals plants in Martins Ferry, Yorkville, Steubenville
and Portsmouth, OH. and Wheeling and Beech Bottom, W. Va.
